Meta-owned company Twitter is rolling out its new feature for Android and IOS users for the beta version, where the users send HD photos to each other on WhatsApp. This feature is available for some beta testers who experiment with sending HD images and photos with different resolutions. This feature improves the User experience while sending messages. WhatsApp release this feature soon for worldwide users.
This new feature comes with some settings before sending an HD image; the user chooses a better quality while sending photos. This option appears only when the user selects a specific image size.
Send HD image
This feature is available when you select the image option. This feature will appear on the top of the image section, where you can select the HD label and send the photo with the label tag. It’s not mandatory to use this feature while sending messages. This option is optional; the default option is always “Standard quality” for any photos. You can select the HD option whenever you want to share a photo with your contact to improve the quality of the photos.
In the old version, WhatsApp does not offer to send photos in high quality, so that’s why Whatsapp releases this beta feature on feedback, and now you can select the HD option when you want to send high-quality images.
Highlights of sending HD photos on WhatsApp
- This feature is default disabled; when you want to send photos, you can select the option and then send the photo.
- You can quickly identify the shared photo in HD or not because the app places a new tag on high-quality photos once you send them.
- You can only send photos, and this feature doesn’t support videos.
