WhatsApp introduces a new video messages feature in the latest beta updates for IOS and Android. This feature helps users to share short videos up to 60 seconds. Only the beta tester will experience this feature once the roll-out is completed. Then this feature will be available for all users in the upcoming weeks.
This article discusses WhatsApp’s new feature called video messages. This feature is available on WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.12.0.71 and WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.13.4. The users create short videos for up to 60 seconds to enhance their communications. If you participate in beta testing, you will experience this feature on Android and IOS, but this feature is currently unavailable for all users. Only unlimited users can record and send messages.
Check the working of video message features.
Check whether the video message features are working or not, then tap the microphone button within the chat bar in any conversation. The microphone will turn into a video camera button, and you can record messages starting today. Once you select the video option, hold to record the video, and after completing the recording, Tab on it to see the preview. Remember that your recipient is always updated to the latest version so you can receive your video messages. All the video messages are sent in real-time; you cannot send a pre-recorded video in this feature.
It’s impossible to forward video messages to other contacts directly, but you can save them by screen recording as they are not sent by once view. This video messages feature is only available for some beta testers installing the latest version for Android and IOS from the test flight app and WhatsApp beta for Android from Google Play Store. WhatsApp will be rolling out worldwide in the upcoming weeks.
